Helionetics Buys Laser Firm in San Diego

Helionetics Inc., an Irvine maker of lighting fixtures and computer add-on products, is branching out further in the electronics industry by purchasing a San Diego developer of a surgical laser system.
The company said Monday that it has acquired AccuLase Inc.
