Tustin Man, 18, Found Shot Dead on Beach

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Police say an 18-year-old Tustin man apparently shot himself to death Friday morning on Huntington State Beach about half a mile south of the Huntington Beach Pier. The man’s identity has not been released by authorities.
A person walking on the beach discovered the fully clad body near the high-tide line just after 9:30 a.m., Lt. Charles Poe said. The man had a single bullet wound in his chest.
The county coroner’s office has scheduled an autopsy for today.
