Tuesday: The Community Foundation for Oak Park will present a fact-finding workshop on Proposition A, a June 7 ballot measure that will determine whether Oak Park becomes part of Thousand Oaks, an independent city or stay an unincorporated community. Oak Hills School, 1010 N. Kanan Road; 7:30 p.m.

Thursday: Kate Squires, a Republican candidate for U. S. Senate, and William Baker, a candidate for Ventura County auditor-controller, will be the guest speakers at a meeting of the Conejo Valley Chapter of United We Stand America.
