These are the weapons that would be banned under the legislation.
* AK-47 and all models of the Norinco, Mitchell and Poly Technologies Avtomat Kalashnikovs, designed in the former Soviet Union.
* Israeli UZI and Galil.
* Intratec TEC-9, TEC-22 and TEC-DC9.
* M-10, M-11, M-11/9 and M-12 machine pistols.
* Street Sweeper and Striker 12 and other revolving cylinder semiautomatic shotguns.
* Beretta AR-70 and SC-70.
* Colt AR-15.
* Several weapons manufactured by Belgium’s Fabrique Nationale, the FN/FAL, FN/LAR, and FNC. The guns are used by the armed forces of more than 90 countries.
* Steyr AUG, an automatic rifle made in Austria.
