Alemany 9, Loyola 2--Alemany’s Robby Glenn went two-for-three with three RBIs as the Cubs lost a Mision League game Wednesday at Alemany.
Wilson 13, Verdugo Hills 4--Danny Arreola and Rene Herrera drove in four runs apiece as the Mules won a Northeastern League game Wednesday at Wilson.
Bell 21, Locke 2--Pitcher Yamel Delgado helped his own cause with a three-run triple in the second inning in a Southeastern Conference blowout Tuesday at Locke. Eagle third baseman Larry Gayton went four-for-five with four RBIs and first baseman Val Beltran went two-for-three with three RBIs.
Crenshaw 11, Dorsey 0--Pitcher Tim Moore tossed a three-hit shutout as the Cougars scored a Southern League shutout Tuesday at home. With the victory, Moore extended his scoreless-inning streak to 15 and trimmed his ERA to 0.66.
Crenshaw exploded for all 11 runs in the first three innings with the help of catcher Todd Moore, Tim’s older brother, who went two-for-three with two RBIs.
