Baham, from Temple City High School, showed off her diverse talents last weekend at the State swimming and diving championships at Cypress College. Baham won the 100 individual medley (1:02.37) and the 200 individual medley (2:12.31). She also was part of OCC’s winning 200- and 400-medley relay teams and on the winning 400 freestyle team. Baham finished with 52 points as OCC set a state-record with 639 points. Saddleback (294) was second. It was OCC’s sixth consecutive State title and the 10th in the last 11 years.
Other notables:
* Brandi Kossub, Orange Coast, won the 50 and 100 backstroke for the second consecutive year at the State swimming championships.
