Macy Sets Date for Reorganization Plan: R.H. Macy & Co. said it will file a detailed bankruptcy reorganization plan June 30, about one month before a court-imposed deadline for submitting such a proposal. Macy, whose holdings include the Bullock’s and I. Magnin department store chains, hopes to garner support from its creditors when it releases the plan. If Macy is unable to obtain adequate support for the plan, the court could ask Federated Department Stores or other parties to submit rival proposals.
