* Joseph Caligiuri, Salvatore DiMascio and Susan Preston have joined the board of directors of Alton Group, a Garden Grove manufacturer of medical and industrial instruments, increasing the number of directors to seven. Caligiuri, who is now retired, most recently served as a corporate executive vice president for Litton Industries Inc. Preston was formerly a vice president and general counsel for MicroProbe Corp. DiMascio, president of DiMascio Venture Management Inc., was chief financial officer of Conair Corp. until 1986.
