Be Our Guest: Marriott Hotels is eliminating its 75-cent credit card access fee for using a room telephone at some of its hotels, including several Orange County locations.
Customers also are no longer going to be charged for receiving facsimile copies starting today.
The changes are the result of research into the needs of traveling business executives and what they want from a hotel, Marriott officials said.
“By implementing these changes, we are helping them to do their job better while traveling,” said Dave Babich, Western regional director.
Among the hotels participating in the program are the Marriott hotels in Anaheim, Fullerton, Irvine and Newport Beach and the Marriott Suites in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach.
