Oxnard police are looking for a man who robbed a bank Thursday morning and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man entered California Federal Bank at 2900 Saviers Road at about 11:15 a.m., approached a teller and asked for money, telling her to “keep her hands up,” according to Oxnard Police Sgt. Fred Berry.
The robber was described as a dark-haired Latino male, about 25 years old, 5 foot, 9 inches tall, and 160 pounds. He was wearing a white and blue baseball cap, dark sunglasses and a white T-shirt with a dark blue logo.
The teller, who told police she did not see a gun or other weapon, turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the man, who leafed through the cash and fled.
According to Berry, the man was last seen running toward the area of Samuel Avenue and Lark Street. An investigation is continuing.
