Ducks Open on the Road

ANAHEIM — The Mighty Ducks will open their second NHL season with a three-game trip to Dallas, Edmonton and Vancouver, the team announced Thursday.
The Ducks open the season Oct. 1 at Dallas and follow with games at Edmonton (Oct. 5) and Vancouver (Oct. 7). Their first home game will be Oct. 9 against Calgary at The Pond of Anaheim.
The Ducks also will play two games at neutral sites--a Feb. 9 road game against St. Louis at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, and a March 11 home game against Dallas at San Antonio’s Alamodome.
