** 1/2 Leonard Cohen, “Cohen Live--Leonard Cohen in Concert,” Columbia. Cohen takes so long between albums that fans will welcome this release, despite the lack of new revelations and visuals (half the fun of a Cohen concert is seeing him play out the role of the sophisticated, beautiful loser). Neophytes, though, should be directed to the original studio albums containing these songs.
New albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
