CAMARILLO : Garage Fire Causes $90,000 in Damage
- Share via
Firefighters on Thursday doused a fire of unknown origin that destroyed a young couple’s Camarillo garage and charred a white car parked in front of it.
Chris and Tia Bush reported the fire in their garage at 3188 Belair Court at 7:06 a.m. after being alerted by neighbors, who spotted smoke pouring out of the structure, authorities said.
Firefighters from three engine companies extinguished the blaze about 30 minutes later, after freeing a dog from the back yard, said county fire dispatcher Vicki Sosa. No one was injured.
Sosa said investigators could not determine what ignited the blaze, which caused about $90,000 worth of structure and property damage.
