HUNTINGTON BEACH : 2 Instructors Receive Cosmetology Honors

Two cosmetology instructors at Golden West College have been named to the California Cosmetology Assn.’s Hall of Fame.
The instructors, Gary Black and Albert Salmon, both of Lake Elsinore, were tapped for the honor at the statewide cosmetology association’s recent 65th annual convention in Bakersfield.
The Hall of Fame recognition honored the two men for their professional accomplishments as well as their community activities.
In addition to the Hall of Fame honor, Black was given a Lifetime Achievement Award at the convention from the Long Beach Hairdressers Guild.
Black has taught cosmetology courses at Golden West since 1973, and Salmon has taught there since 1971.
