Abbey Fires Executives: The company said it has fired several executives who were part of former President Victor M.G. Chaltiel’s management team. Abbey Healthcare Group Inc., a Costa Mesa nursing home operator, would not identify the executives, but analysts said they are probably people in financial management posts within Abbey and its Total Pharmaceutical Care subsidiary. Chaltiel was head of Torrance-based Total Pharmaceutical when it was acquired by Abbey last year. He became Abbey’s president as part of the deal.
