Tri-Lite Inc.: The Irvine lighting company recorded a profit of $242,000, or 6 cents a share, for the second quarter, up 40% from the $173,000, or 9 cents a share, posted for the like 1993 period. Revenue more than doubled, to $7.7 million from $3.5 million. First half profit was down 4%, to $383,000, or 10 cents a share, from $401,000, or 21 cents a share. Revenue rose to $12 million from $6.3 million.
