SANTA ANA : College Newscast Auditions Planned

Auditions for Rancho Santiago College’s “Around and About Orange County” newscast will be held next Tuesday at the Centennial Education Center, a spokesman said.
People interested in auditioning need no previous broadcast news experience but should be able to read news items from a Teleprompter without rehearsing. Also, they should be available Tuesdays and Thursdays through December for production meetings and tapings, district spokesman Dale Ruhe said.
Those with writing, editing and camera skills are also invited to attend the tryouts. The auditions will be held at 11 a.m. in Room E-103. The Centennial Center is at 2900 W. Edinger Ave.
