Western Financial Savings Bank: The Irvine bank has sold $200 million of securities backed by car loans, according to MCM CorporateWatch. The sale was underwritten by Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and the securities received “AAA” ratings from Moody’s Investors Service and Standard & Poor’s Corp.
