COURTNEY CONTINUED: Speaking of Love on-line, the singer, whose messages have frequently been deleted by America Online monitors due to profane or inflammatory language, was understandably outraged when a note from a service user making lewd remarks about Love’s daughter was allowed to remain on the service for more than a week before being deleted.

“That’s clearly a violation of our terms-of-service agreement,” says AOL spokeswoman Pam McGraw of the lewd note. “But we have thousands of message areas and each is monitored by its own staff.”
