Road Crew Discovers Bullet-Riddled Body

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Members of a road crew Wednesday discovered the bullet-riddled body of a man in his mid-20s, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The workers, county offenders assigned to the Community Work Program, discovered the body just after 2 p.m. off La Pata Avenue, in an unincorporated area of the county just outside San Juan Capistrano.
An autopsy has been scheduled for today.
