MORE STREISAND?: Erlichman and Landers both say that the tour, Streisand’s first in nearly three decades, “reconnected” the star with her audience. But they say that she seems set on sticking to her vow never to tour again.
Erlichman acknowledged that he did get a h-u-g-e offer for shows in Japan, but turned them down.
Streisand is now shifting gears back to the movie world, doing pre-production work for two films she plans to direct and co-star in: “The Normal Heart” for Columbia Pictures and “The Mirror Has Two Faces” for TriStar. And there’s also more music on the horizon for her. Landers says that he and Streisand have been discussing several potential concepts for her next album.
“We just have to wait to see which one she chooses to pursue,” he says.
