A Hollywood landmark, damaged in the Jan. 17 earthquake, will be replaced atop a Hollywood Boulevard office building in a rededication ceremony at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
The “Leaning Dome,” a 1932 Art Deco cupola on the 95-foot-high office tower, suffered major damage to its steel-and-glass frame.
The tower, known as the eastern gateway to Hollywood, houses the offices of Johns + Gorman Films, the company that provided the nearly $80,000 for the cupola’s repair.
