Hart High’s two Southern Section championship football teams had common bonds.
Tom Bonds was the quarterback of the Indians’ 1983 Coastal Conference championship team. His brother, Jim Bonds, was the quarterback of Hart’s 1986 Northwestern Conference champion. The school retired the No. 7 jersey both wore for the Indians.
