Bening, Hamlin in ‘Noise’ Fund-Raiser

Annette Bening will appear in classical theater company A Noise Within’s annual fund-raising event, “A Glorious Noise Within,” at the Chevy Chase Country Club in Glendale on Oct. 1.
Also on the bill will be Michael Learned, Harry Hamlin, Broadway and film conductor-composer Norman Henry Mamey and the nonprofit company’s ensemble of actors in classic scenes. Proceeds will help underwrite A Noise Within’s Conservatory classes, “Summer With Shakespeare” program for teens, student outreach and the 1994-95 repertory season.
The event is black-tie optional. Tickets are $75; patrons, $100 or more; corporate sponsors, $200 or more.
