TV Talk Shows Turn Her Off
At last somebody has told it right in “Next! When Abnormal Becomes Normal!” by Shari Roan (Sept. 6).
Just a sampling of the plague of talk shows should give any thinking person a cold chill. Our society is on a slippery slope to God-only-knows-what. And anyone in the audience who holds up a timid hand and dares to say some of this is wrong is looked upon as some sort of bigot.
Recently a problem came up in our family, and I listened to my 14-year-old granddaughter spouting phrases lifted directly from the talk shows without a clue to their true import. Yes. Children are watching.
