BRIEFLY : Environment: Used Cards, Wrapping Sought

Used greeting cards and gift wrapping paper can be recycled in a program sponsored by the city, Pasadena Beautiful Foundation and the Armory Center for the Arts.

Drop-off boxes for the cards and paper have been distributed throughout the city, including all branch libraries, at several businesses, the Armory Center and the Pasadena Board of Realtors.

Donated materials will be used to make baskets, collages and other art objects in the outreach and studio art classes at the center, 145 N. Raymond Ave., said Elisa Greben Crystal, Armory executive director.
