Wilson 22, Marshall 7--Reserve quarterback Brian McGann, starting for the flu-stricken Eddie Gonzales, completed seven of 17 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Mules in a Northern Conference game at Marshall.

McGann threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Buster Bradley three plays after Anthony Rodriguez recovered a fumble at the Marshall 27-yard line. McGann threw a six-yard scoring pass to Bradley to give Wilson a 14-0 lead. Bradley had five receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Arlin Slayton finished the scoring for Wilson on a three-yard run.
