TARZANA — Armed robbers took over a jewelry store Friday afternoon, robbed the store of money, jewelry and watches and then took a customer’s money and jewelry, police said.
No one was injured in the heist and the two robbers are still at large, said Lt. Anthony Alba of the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Division.
Two men in disguises walked into L.A. Watches and Jewelry in the 18000 block of Ventura Boulevard about 1:25 p.m. and stole an undetermined amount of money and property from two clerks and a customer, Alba said.
Alba said the men drove to the store, but abandoned the car during their escape.
