WESTLAKE : New Stage Drama at Commonwealth

The Commonwealth Theatre, located on the grounds of the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, opens its first stage production in more than three years at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
“Waiting for the Parade,” a drama written by playwright John Murrell that focuses on five women affected by World War II, runs through Feb. 26. It is directed by James Burke.
The First Congregational Church is at 540 S. Commonwealth Ave. Ticket prices vary and may be purchased by calling (213) 660-TKTS or at the box office prior to performances.
