Punto Leads Charge for Trabuco Hills

MISSION VIEJO — Nick Punto hit three consecutive three-pointers and two free throws in the fourth quarter that clinched Trabuco Hills’ 63-60 victory over Capistrano Valley in a South Coast League game Friday at Trabuco Hills.
Punto finished with six three-pointers and 24 points. The Mustangs (14-9, 5-2) made 18 of 21 free throws. Jonathan Paisley added 13 points.
Randy Shepard led Capistrano Valley (14-9, 3-4) with 13 points and Greg Foster and John D’Aquanni added 11 points each.
