Kelli Tom of El Dorado, a first-team All-Empire League softball player, has orally committed to Ohio State, Golden Hawks Coach Chris Schaner said Sunday.
Tom hit .303 last season and also pitched, finishing 9-3 with a 0.82 earned-run average. Tom chose Ohio State over Michigan State, among others. The late signing period for letters of intent begins April 12 and ends Aug. 1.
