Marina’s Lyon Picks Loyola Marymount

Jessica Lyon, a midfielder for Marina’s soccer team, has signed a letter of intent with Loyola Marymount, her mother, Janet Lyon, said Friday.

Lyon has 10 goals and 10 assists this season for the Vikings, who have an unbeaten streak of 59 games and will play in the Division I semifinals Tuesday.

Lyon was also recruited by UC Irvine for soccer and Arkansas for volleyball. She was a setter in volleyball and named to the Sunset League’s second team this past season.
