When planning a recent trip to Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Mexico, I discovered a good reservation service. If you are planning a trip to the area and want a more complete list of accommodations than you can find through a travel agent, package plan or the Ministry of Tourism, call or fax Julia Ortiz, owner and manager of JOB Representaciones, at 011-52-753-44374. (Keep trying; the line’s often busy.) She represents the large hotels in Ixtapa, small hotels in Zihuatanejo and villas, bungalows and condominiums throughout the area. She speaks English very well and will meet you at the airport.
