New Internet Access Firm Acquires Client

Coast-Line!, a recently established firm that provides Internet access to companies and individuals, has landed its first business client. It’s the Ash Street Card Club, a Ventura card club.
Coast-Line! says Ash Street will use its computer-based service to keep club members informed about tournaments, hour changes and other developments.
“We’ll put our newsletter on the Internet,” said Mike Wooten, the club’s co-manager. “Besides keeping in touch with current members, we expect the service to help us attract new people to visit the club.”
Card players and computer enthusiasts have a great deal in common, Wooten says. “Both groups are highly math-oriented. We’ve found that a lot of the people who play cards here also happen to be Internet nerds.”
