Disaster Preparedness Courses to Be Offered

HUNTINGTON BEACH — City-sponsored disaster preparedness classes will be offered during April for residents, business owners and school officials.
The first meeting will be April 1 and will focus on neighborhood preparedness. On April 13, the meeting will discuss preparing businesses in the event of a disaster. The third meeting April 20 will offer tips on preparing schools.
All of the meetings will be from 8 a.m. to noon in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 2000 Main St.
The classes are free to Huntington Beach residents and employees.
