ECHO PARK : Food Giveaway Set for Seniors, Disabled

Free food will be distributed Wednesday to people over age 60 and disabled adults at the corner of Glendale Boulevard and Park Avenue in Echo Park.
Residents of Echo Park, Chinatown, Elysian Park, Downtown and Lincoln Heights are eligible. Recipients must also bring proof of their eligibility, such as Social Security or Medi-Cal papers. Food will be distributed at 9 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. The giveaway is sponsored by the Echo Park-based Central Community Service Inc.
