Angels Sign Randle, 46, as Replacement Player

He has been a Washington Senator, a singer and stand-up comic and now Lenny Randle is a 46-year-old replacement player after signing a minor league contract with the Angels on Saturday.
Randle, an infielder who broke into the majors with the Senators in 1971, has been playing in Italy recently. He has also been singing and doing comedy in clubs from New York to Japan. He played with four other teams in a major league career that ended in 1982.
