Outlook: Varvas is confident about this team, pointing to solid leadership--especially from McQuad and Torres--in every event. The Warriors should battle El Toro and Santa Margarita for the league title. Burgess and Stovall, on the track fresh from basketball, had standout seasons last spring. Wilson-Duval, hampered by injuries last season, appears ready for her senior year.
