Coach: Alan Dugard (fourth year).
1994: 21-9, 11-3 in the Sea View League. Seeded No. 4 in Division III playoffs, upset in second round by Redondo Beach Redondo Union, 1-0, in 17 innings.
Key returners: Chloe Berman, OF, Jr.; Ashley Boone, 1B/OF, So.; Carrie Brown, SS, Sr; Michelle Hague, C, Sr.; Lolita Harper, OF, Jr.; Liz Lemire, 3B, So.; Jackie Sukiasian, P, Jr.; Corey Washington, P/OF, Jr.; Lisa Weaver, 1B, Sr.
Key newcomers: Kristy Clarke, OF, Fr.; Lindsey Cohan, C, Fr.; Christy Robitaille, P, Fr.; Nichole Thompson, 2B, Fr.; Lisa Watanabe, OF, Fr.
Outlook: The Warriors have won 13 consecutive league titles and return enough talent that their streak should continue. But they are trying to get over the hump in the playoffs. They lost in the 1993 quarterfinals while seeded No. 1 after winning the 3-A title in ’92. Brown (.326) is coming off a broken leg sustained in a midseason collision with Times player of the year Alison Johnsen. Lemire (.321), Boone (.316) and Weaver (.340) are also offensive threats.
