FULLERTON — The Student Athletic Advisory Council to the Cal State Fullerton athletic department has voted to form a committee to study the feasibility of reinstating football at the school.
Fullerton Athletic Director John Easterbrook confirmed the group’s plans for the committee that would be made up of students, alumni and members of the community.
“I’m always interested in looking into expansion of the department, so I’ll welcome hearing about what the group learns,” Easterbrook said. Cal State Fullerton suspended its football program after the 1992 season.
