COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Tellez Helps Fullerton Beat Golden West, 7-6

Andy Tellez’s two-run double capped a three-run, ninth-inning rally and helped Fullerton to a 7-6 victory over visiting Golden West Saturday in Orange Empire Conference baseball.
Matt Wood pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings in relief to improve to 3-1. Tellez had three hits and four runs batted in for the Hornets (19-6, 4-5).
In other conference games:
Orange Coast 3, Cypress 1--Behind the four-hit pitching of Mark Gardner and Nick Valencia’s two-run home run in the fourth inning, Orange Coast (12-11, 4-3) knocked off conference leader Cypress.
Rancho Santiago 10, Saddleback 2--Kirk Irvine scattered six hits and struck out 13 to lead host Rancho Santiago (16-7, 4-5).
