WESTMINSTER : Volunteers Sought for School Committee
- Share via
The Westminster School District is seeking volunteers to serve on a special-education advisory committee, a spokeswoman said.
The Community Advisory Committee meets monthly and will hold its next meeting tonight at 7 at district headquarters. Meetings are held in the boardroom at 14121 Cedarwood Ave., spokeswoman Audrey Brown said.
About 11% of district children have mild to severe special-education requirements, and the committee is designed to generate suggestions for improvements in programs that benefit those children. The group also serves to encourage parent education and involvement, Brown said.
