Tax Breaks

* I don’t get it. Most tax breaks proposed by both major parties are highlighted for those having children. Granted, the cost of a child is very high.

I am 46 and have never had children. I’ve not put a burden on any school systems or agencies trying to find/prosecute delinquent payments for child support. The divorce court has twice taken me for huge financial losses. Perhaps it’s time to reward people who do not bring unwanted children into the world. How about a $1,000 deduction for not bringing another problem into the world?
