Weekend TV : ‘Journal’ Eyes L.A.’s Young and Violence

“Violence in America: The L.A. Story” is the title of a panel discussion Sunday on “Bob Navarro’s Journal.” The program, which airs at 3 p.m. on KCBS-TV Channel 2, looks at the causes of and possible solutions for violence among youths.
In sports, the semifinals of the men’s NCAA basketball tournament tip off at 2:30 p.m. today when UCLA plays Oklahoma State, followed by Arkansas vs. North Carolina at 5 p.m. on CBS.
