SANTA BARBARA--Kids will learn about nature while sleuthing for treats at the Spring Eggstravaganza: Egg and Nature Treasure Hunt, April 15 at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. SAN LUIS OBISPO--The 55th La Fiesta celebration of local heritage, April 19-23, kicks off with festivities, featuring food, music and the burning of Zozobra (Old Man Gloom) at 5 p.m. April 19 at the Elks Lodge. La Fiesta and the weekly farmer’s market combine for entertainment, art and fun, 6-9 p.m. April 20 on Higuera Street. La Fiesta parade is 10 a.m. April 22 on Higuera Street; and El Mercado de La Fiesta brings arts and crafts, food and more to Mission Plaza over the weekend. (805) 781-2777.
NORCO--The spirit and adventure of the Old West comes alive at Colt’s 14th annual End of Trail Cowboy Shoot Out and Wild West Jubilee, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. April 20-23.
