Amelia A. Romero; Native of Santa Paula

Amelia A. Romero, a native of Santa Paula and lifelong resident of Ventura County, has died. She was 54.
Romero suffered a stroke and died in Santa Paula Hospital on Thursday.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Romero, of Santa Paula and six children, Luis Romero Jr., Connie A. Romero, Sylvia Romero, Annette Romero, Ana Marie Romero and Elvia Romero, all of Santa Paula.
She is also survived by her parents, Agustin and Inez Arellano of Santa Paula; brothers Ramond Arellano and Sammy Arellano, and two grandchildren, Vanessa Marie and Luis Romero III.
Services will take place today at the Citrus Valley Christian Center in Santa Paula.
