OJAI : Jewish Center Plans Passover Celebration

Ojai Valley’s only Jewish center will celebrate Passover on Saturday, during which synagogue members will recount the history of the Jews’ struggle to free themselves from Egyptian rule.
The Jewish Community of the Oaks will include in its celebration prayers for those who are still under religious persecution.
It will also feature a traditional Jewish meal, including matzo ball soup, roast chicken, wine and desserts.
The celebration is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the banquet room at Soule Park Golf Course.
It will cost $25 for adults and $18 for children under 13.
