The music of Haydn will be highlighted in a special festival June 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Founders Hall at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa. The Angeles String Quartet will play six Haydn quartets--three before a lunch break and three after. The first group consists of Opus 1, No. 1 (“La Chasse”); Opus 33, No. 3 (“The Bird”), and Opus 64, No. 3. The second group comprises Opus 1, No. 3; Opus 20, No. 6 and Opus 74, No. 1. Tickets: $25 (includes Haydn Fest T-shirt). Box lunch from Gustaf Anders will be available at separate cost. Information: (714) 556-2787.
