. . . .Two former coaches from the once-prominent Long Beach State program are finalists for the Cal State Northridge women’s basketball position, according to sources in the CSUN athletic department.
A field of more than 60 applicants has been narrowed to Glenn McDonald and Michael Abraham, sources said.
McDonald, head coach at Long Beach for the past four seasons, was also a six-year 49er assistant under ex-Coach Joan Bonvicini.
Abraham, 35, was an assistant under Bonvicini at Long Beach until 1990. He has spent the last five seasons as an assistant at Oregon State, where he was recruiting coordinator.
