Green Foods and YH Products Are Honored

Green Foods Corp. and its subsidiary, YH Products Corp., both based in Oxnard, have been honored by the state Assembly in recognition of their fifth anniversary in Ventura County.
The companies, which produce powdered health supplements from locally grown barley grass and other crops, employ 60 workers in a $21-million facility in Oxnard’s Seagate Business Park.
Assemblyman Nao Takasugi presented a resolution to a Green Foods representative. The award honored the companies for their production techniques and for donations to food banks and the Achilles Track Club, an organization of wheelchair athletes.
